Weight Loss Takes Time


We’re in the heat of the summer, and realistically it’s time to start thinking about weight loss for the Holidays. It takes time to divest one’s self of the extra pounds that gather around the middle of our bodies, or to gain physical fitness.

It takes some time to accomplish these goals. It requires re-learning how to eat, and nurture your body. These habits take time to become part of your lifestyle. Being a healthy weight and maintaining it requires changes in your life.

It’s easy to lose 10 pounds. It’s easier to gain 10 pounds. How many “10 pound” increments do we gain before we decide to change? One day, we wake up and realize we gained 50, 100, or 200 pounds. It can be depressing and overwhelming.
